New SMS Verification Plugin for WordPress

A new plugin, FraudLabs Pro SMS Verification, has been released to the WordPress repository. Technically speaking, this SMS Verification isn’t a completely new plugin, as this feature had been previously integrated inside the FraudLabs Pro Fraud Prevention plugin, and released to the market years ago. However, we believe that it will be more advantageous to spin it off as a separate plugin to better serve its purpose, i.e. sms verification. Since the features are now self-contained in a dedicated plugin, we can further enhance the sms verification features without worrying about how the modifications might affect the fraud prevention features as was the case previously. To users, they can now mix and match the features based on their needs. If the users require only the fraud prevention solution, they could just install the fraud prevention plugin. If sms verification is the only requirement needed, then the sms verification plugin should be their choice. Or, combine both plugins for a more comprehensive protection.

What are the changes to the FraudLabs Pro Fraud Prevention plugin?

By detaching the sms verification from the fraud prevention plugin, the below options will be removed from version 2.9.0 onwards.
