FraudLabs Pro supports 2 validation rules, namely the Product SKU <\/strong>and SKU Quantity <\/strong>Validation Rule, that enables you to validate the product specific SKU information. These rules can be found under Transaction Validation <\/strong>section in the Rules configuration page<\/a>. The features only available if you are using the FraudLabs Pro for WooCommerce <\/strong>plugin from version 2.12.0 onward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prerequisite<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Before configuring the SKU validation rules, ensure that the SKU is defined for each product in WooCommerce. To do so, go to WooCommerce > Products<\/strong>, edit the product, navigate to the Product Data > Inventory<\/strong> tab, and enter the SKU value in the SKU<\/strong> field. Products without a defined SKU will be skipped during validation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the Product SKU<\/strong> validation rule, the system will check all the order items SKU information for validation. You are required to enter the exact SKU number for validation. You can enter multiple SKU values, however wildcard entry is not supported in the validation rule. The below example will flag the order for review if the client purchased the product (identified as product SKU a1234567<\/strong>).Once the validation rule been triggered, the order will be screened and flagged as Review status. The following screenshot shows the Manual Review Triggered by the Product SKU<\/strong> validation rule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the SKU Quantity <\/strong>validation rules, the system will check all the order items to determine if any of the items meet the rule criteria. For example, a client purchased 1x product A and 2x product B. If you have the below SKU Quantity <\/strong>rule configured, the rule will be triggered to put the order in review. It is because the system found out that the client purchased more than 1 unit of product B, after screening through all items in that particular order.The screenshot below shows the order been flagged as Manual Review due to the SKU Quantity<\/strong> validation rule that detects the SKU Quantity is greater than 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can combine both validation rules for a more specific validation. For example, you only want to flag the order for review if a client purchased more than 2 units of product B (SKU of a1234567<\/strong>), then you can create a grouping rule as below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conclusion, you can now selectively flag the product for review for various reasons with the help of the Product SKU<\/strong> validation rule and SKU Quantity<\/strong> validation rule. For example, it could be the product item is a high ticket item that you want to carefully review before the fulfillment, or it could also be a suspicious purchase pattern if the product is purchased in large quantities and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
