After installing the FraudLabs Pro fraud prevention module<\/a> in your PrestaShop store, the next step is learning how to use it effectively to detect and prevent fraudulent transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This guide walks you through three key steps: reviewing fraud validation rules, placing a test order, and reviewing the fraud analysis results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Review Fraud Validation Rules<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

FraudLabs Pro evaluates each incoming order using a set of fraud validation rules. These rules determine whether an order should be approved, rejected, or flagged for review based on various risk factors such as IP address, email domain, billing and shipping mismatch, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To review or adjust the rules:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log in to your FraudLabs Pro Merchant Area<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Go to the Rules<\/strong> page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Review the fraud validation rules and customize them according to your business needs. By default, there are 5 rules<\/a> being configured as shown below:\"rules<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Once done, save your rules.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2: Test an Order<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Once your rules are set, it’s time to test the module to ensure that it’s working correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Go to your PrestaShop store.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Add an item to your cart and click on Proceed to Checkout.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          1. Go to the Orders > Orders<\/strong> in the side menu and then select the test order you just created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
