Anonymous Proxy Detection

Anonymous proxies, such as public proxies, web proxies, VPNs, TOR, and others, are commonly used by fraudsters to hide their tracks when committing payment crimes. Detecting the use of anonymous proxies is a crucial red flag in fraud detection, and you should be wary if you notice a visit originating from an anonymous proxy. This demo enables you to check whether an IP address is associated with an anonymous proxy using FraudLabs Pro.

Note that proxy types include VPN, TOR, PUB, WEB, RES, CPN, and EPN. DCH and SES are not classified as proxies. For more information, see the Proxy Type Explanation.
